Use of the Public Parks for any special events require a Use Permit

which can be obtained at the City Hall office

Use Permit must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to event to

assure review time by City Council and Department Heads

Heritage Park – Center of Town

Horseshoe pits, Tennis Courts, Basketball Court, Public Restrooms, Swimming Pool

Swimming Pool General Information (located in Heritage Park) :

POOL is OPEN:  Monday – Friday  Adult Swim 12:00-1:00pm; Open Swim 1:00-8:00pm (unless otherwise posted)

Rail Road Park -(located along Pike Ave)

Sherwood Park – (located on N 11th Street)

Itch-kep-pe Park is open on a limited basis on the upper portion as of July 5, 2022
THE BOAT RAMP WILL OPEN ON SATURDAY MORNING (JULY 23RD)
PARKING WILL BE LIMITED SO PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OTHER BOATERS. 

ALL CAMPERS NEED TO NOTE THAT THE CITY WILL HOLD THE RIGHT TO CLOSE AREAS TO CAMPING

DUE TO THE RENOVATION NEEDED FOR FLOOD RECOVERY.

Itch-Kep-Pe Park    , NO reservations are available

Campers MUST be in a developed camp site, No camping is allowed in non developed areas.

Sites available on a first come first serve basis, NO reservations are available

Camping for tents as well as camper trailers

Sites are equipped with fire rings

A 7 (Seven) day stay limit is enforced

River access

Boat ramp located at south east end of camp ground

Restrooms are on site (seasonal availability)

Donations are greatly appreciated and donation pipes are available at two different sites in the campground
